"I would definitely recommend this trip to a friend."
Probably the best view in the state excluding Mt. Pilchuck. Very close to Seattle (1/2 hour maybe), it is a challenging but rewarding climb of 2500 feet or so.
[Editor's note: Mt. Si is a well-known and well-traveled trail from a trailhead just outside North Bend, 20 miles from Seattle. The summit is over 4000' and is in snow in the early spring season. The view is great, and Alicia has kindly posted her Mt. Si photos here. More Mt. Si Trip Reports.]
