Trip report by Colby Phillips.
A nice hike to a mountain view lake and on to a ridge with "in your face" views of Mt. Hood makes this a great day trip. A leisurely 1.6 mile switched-back hike through dense forest takes you to a perfectly stereotypical Mirror Lake if there ever was one. The trail circles the lake for reflective views of Mt. Hood and then follows a ridgeline to the top of Tom, Dick & Harry Mountain. At the summit, there is a panoramic view of Mt. Hood right in front of you.

Getting There: From Portland, take Hwy. 26 East to Mt. Hood. The trailhead is between mileposts 51 and 52 just before you get to Government Camp, Oregon.
