
The Methow Valley Sport Trail Association (MVSTA) maintains a system of inn-to-inn ski trails near Winthrop. The extensive trails of Mazama are also part of this system.
This trail travels through flat, scenic farmland. It gets steeper as it nears Sun Mountain Lodge. Groomed for track and skate. Amenities available in Winthrop and at the lodge. Affordable accommodations are available just outside Winthrop, and there are plenty of places to eat in town.

Getting there: Trailheads located at Virginian, Wolf Ridge, or Sun Mountain resorts. Ski pass required, approximately $12 per day for adults.
