Mazama Ski Trails


Plenty of parking and wonderful views welcome skiers willing to pay for ski passes on the Methow Valley Sport Trail Association's system of cross-country ski trails. This section begins at the Mazama resort just outside Winthrop. The trails at Rendezvous are also part of this inn-to-inn ski trail system.

This well-marked trails stay close to the road, along the Methow River. Almost all easy trails through open ponderosa forests and open fields. The resort offers lodging, food, lessons, rentals and restrooms. Patrolled. Groomed for track and skate.

Getting there: Trailhead is located at Mazama near Winthrop. Ski pass required, approximately $12 per adult per day.
