Ingalls Peak

Trip report by: Imtnclimb@aol.com

"I would definitely recommend this trip to a friend."

Tried to climb Ingalls Peak one weekend in early October. This is a truly beautiful area. The trail to Ingalls Pass was still snow free, but there was about 1-2" of snow in the basin. The lake was still ice-free, but cold. We made the 1st pitch, but got stymied by ice on the rock above the 1st belay ledge.
