Two of us telemarked right around the Hurricane Ridge lodge during winter conditions on 5/1. There was no shortage of snow up there and when things corn up it will be fabulous. Looks like it'll be a long season.
There was a thin layer of fresh over windslab. When the powder got scraped off it was a little icy but not unskiable. Teenage downhillers have built a ramp where the buried lift is and the run is packed down; they were willing to share. The guys at Olympic Mountaineering seem to have great info on conditions.
