Very peaceful hike about 4.5 miles along scree slopes then in a nice forest canopy. Then at 4.5 miles hit a jeep road not peaceful when about 10 trucks go by. If one wants they can hike up to Hawkins Mt. (7100') We didn't as the visb. was very poor.
